Attendance

The whole party got a whiff of garlic. Maeni looked down by her foot and noticed a plant rustling nearby.
Maeni realized the plant was a Mandrake root and the party safely went around it.
After sneaking up on an over-turned wagon, the party was attacked by something within. In response, Mirius set the wagon on fire and the party waited to burn out the occupants.
After the fire had died down, the adventurers found a trap door that lead to a subterranean passage way under the wagon.
They entered the passage way, with Erdan leading the way. The knight just barely missed taking the worst of a spike trap.
The party eventually came upon a garlic-plant man in his "throne room" who cast entangle in the hallway before sending his minion to attack the adventurers.
After a brutal fight that saw several characters get knocked unconscious, the garlic-plant man was defeated.
On the return to Hommlet, the party avoided a swarm of giant blood sucking gnats because they were covered in garlic "blood" from their previous encounter.
Flott-Lyn discovered a corpse clutching a scrap of parchment that was being held by the deceased in a nearby stream. With information gleaned from Flott-Lyn's use of detect magic Mirius suggested another blank parchment be placed in the stream. This act imbued the paper with magic, creating a spell scroll.

The party long rested by the previously enchanted stream.
They then returned to Hommelet and delivered the head of the garlic-plant man to Kenter Nevets.
After visiting the Trading Post for some light commerce, the adventurers found themselves back in the Inn of the Welcome Wench at approximately 12:00pm.

Found letter from garlic-plant man from before he was transformed. He used to be a bandit working with a small family, who were also engaged in banditry. They denied a strange woman the warmth of their fire and robbed her one night. Next night, the bandits had nightmares about the woman and a week later they had starting transforming into plant creatures.
